Engagement Photos, Boston, Massachusetts
We are thrilled to share these gorgeous engagement photos from Binita Patel Photography. She definitely has an eye for catching those special moments. The couple had their engagement photos taken in and around Boston, Massachusetts. These pictures of Neetu and Sachin are a perfect example of a great engagement session.
With engagement sessions becoming a “must do” these days, it is that much more important to find locations that reflect the couple. If you want, scout out a location that means a lot to the both of you, or just somewhere that is scenic. You can also leave that decision to the photographer since they do these sessions all the time.
Another way to make the most of an engagement session is to change up your outfits. Bring something American and also something traditional, or something casual and something formal. Above all, make sure whatever you wear is something you’re comfortable in. It will come through in your photos.
There are many ways that you can use the pictures from your session. Pictures from engagement sessions are commonly used for a “Save the Date.” Think ahead about if you would like to display some of these photos at your wedding (during a slide show or on an easel near the entrance to your reception hall) and make sure to let your photographer know when you need them ahead of time. Share them on Facebook to get your friends and family excited for your big day! Another creative way brides have used the pictures is framing a favorite shot and giving them to parents as gifts.
If you create a wedding website, you can use pictures from the session to introduce yourselves to friends and family that your fiance hasn’t had the chance to meet yet. Bridesmaids can use the pictures to create a wedding collage for the couple and in addition they can enlarge the picture and use it for games at the bridal shower.
The last and probably most important aspect of engagement photos is that it is a dry run with your wedding photographer. The bride and groom will learn the time it takes to set up and find great poses which will be helpful because you will be doing the same thing on your wedding day. An engagement session will help you two build a great relationship with your photographer which in turn will make you both more comfortable in front of the camera which will create great memories that will last forever.
